Plot Lines
Identity, website, and publication for Plot Lines, a project led by writers and artists aiming to gather, listen to and share stories and anecdotes from residents of Waterlooville.
The homepage of the Plot Lines website is designed to act as a central hub for the residents to learn about the project and how they might be able to get involved, including a list of upcoming events and workshops. The 'Join' page gives residents the opportunity to contribute to the discussion virtually with a series of questions that they can write, draw or upload images in response to. As these pages are populated with answers, they come alive with thoughts and stories from the community.
As part of the project, we are also working with a group of writers to produce a series of three publications to be delivered to the residents over the course of a year. Each publication compiles content from the in-person community workshops run by artists and writers, as well as short texts and poems produced as part of their writing residencies in the area. The pocket-sized books can be posted through the residents' letterboxes, packaged in clear biodegradable bags along with a fun sticker inspired by the themes of that volume.
