Exhibition graphics for ‘NIGO: From Japan with Love’ at the Design Museum

The graphic system integrated closely with the 3D, adapting seamlessly to the varied object displays. Interpretation panels were printed directly to the panelling, and captions were produced on cardstock with eyelets for adhesive-free fixing to walls and 3D structures. Within dense showcases, small aluminium cubes printed with numbers guide the visitors to the relevant texts.

The graphic palette remained raw and material-based throughout, providing a neutral backdrop for over 700 objects from NIGO’s diverse collection.
